Fonts and 'Things' was a design project from my BA, where I got to create a set of typography based on an existing object. My object was the chair 'Paimio 041' by Aalvar Alto. The font went through a variety of sketches to figure out what the essence of the chair was that I would then carry into the font.
Original chair which was used as a reference point for the development cycle of the type.
The project called for two very simple outcomes; the typeface and an A2 poster celebrating the typeface that was created.
