This was the first project I did in my master's program and one which I got to play and experiment with. The Visual Explorer series is a series of 3 books; Sensing Space (a visual exploration of my hometown) The Community (visual response to a chosen competition brief) & The Collection (a visual continuation of the community and the objects I collated) All 3 books were titled; Where I come from, What is my Health, How I care for my teeth.
Sensing Space: A Visual exploration of my hometown and the nostalgic value it holds. The book also explored systematic design thinking, data visualisation and mini projects; a recurring concept with all 3 books.
The Community: A visual collection and design response to the brief; Healthy Hearts and the impact of heart disease within South Asian communities. This book also featured penned personas and visual scenarios; which helped contextualise and humanise the briefs.
The Collection: A visual continuation from the community and the collation of objects related to the concept and the experimentations undertaken.
